With all the fuss about Christina's Graduation, I do not want to neglect another important milestone in our life this year.  Anne Mary earned her Sparky Award. 

This means she has completed her 2 cubbies books, and all three Sparks books.  If you are unfamiliar with AWANA, the whole point of AWANA is to train the children to serve the Lord.  A major component of this is to memorize scripture, thus effectively learning to "Hide God's Word" in her heart. 

Sparky Award To earn a Sparky Award, a clubber must finish three handbooks, which involves reciting 166 verses and completing 37 activities on missions, witnessing, patriotism, prayer and creation.

David also participated in AWANA this yead and received a "Puggles" participation certificate.  His program did not require outside scripture memory.  He did receive terrific instruction from teachers and learned some verses during club time.
