Looking for a home school program, any ideas?

Recently I've been looking at home school programs on the internet trying to find one that has a strong christian based curriculum.  Boy did I get what I was looking for.  When you google " christian based home school programs" it only pulls up thousands of sites!!  I haven't the time or the patience to scan through all of those.   So I thought what better place to get other home schoolers ideas on what works best and what doesn't than here.  So far one that I've heard alot about is the A Beka program. When I went to the site I did like what I saw but the program was a little rich for my blood,  I have three kids and we are a single income family.  They do have where you can by a grade kit but are those really that good??  PLEASE any and all feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy Ya'll!

How neat that some one has come up with this idea of having a place where home schoolers can vent, get their ideas and even get some words of encouragement!  I have to admitt that I am not yet an official home schooler but it's definately in the works.  I have three small children  female age 5 (going on 15), male age 4 (wears his heart on his sleeve), and male age 3 (know he's the next Batman)!  My days are very busy to say the least, and I run a small farm with 1 dog, 5 goats (one expecting), 2 rabbits and 25ish chickens.  We have a cat but luckly she takes car of her self.   Right now my two oldest are in public school.  I am a new believer and recently God has been showing me more, and more the benefits of having my babies at home.  Just this morning on our way to school my kids and I were talking about what kind of day they were going to have and we always say a prayer on the way to school.  When we were done my daughter said that sometimes her friends don't want to play with her. I could tell her feelings had been hurt by this before, so I told her to tell her friends that that's not how God would want them to treat their friends and that seemed to make her feel better but I know that kids are creatures of habit and that what she said probaly won't phase them and most likely will happen again.  But I  want it to be shown to her that you can be everyones friend without hurting anyone.  Kids can be influenced so easily and I want to make sure that They know God and that we take this journey together to become good people who live for him as a family.
