Preschoolers Teaching Me To Serve

• Apr. 22, 2008 - Officially a soccer mom

My son has been begging to start soccer again.  We just signed him up.  He was so excited to get a soccer uniform!  His cousin also loves her class too!

We also got a new vehicle (to complete the stereotype).  Here is a photo of my kids dancing in the minivan.  They love riding in the back together!  Their tongues are even dancing!  I have to say that this van has already been a huge blessing!  My last car was small and not reliable.  Now I don't have to worry about the car (free road side assistance) or fitting all three kids!

You will love your van! I was scared of mine at first and afraid I would never get us to it, but now i love it! Great for road trips ;)

I am SOOOO excited for you! It is so amazing the friendship that God provides between His children! I feel so close to you and your little family even though I have never really met you! I TOTALLY understand what you mean about being a soccer mom....and about the new car. Last year, I was a soccer mom! This year I am a tee ball mom! The tee ball has gone much better for us. Noah didn't understand that it was okay to take the ball away in soccer. After all, he's always been taught that it always best to share! Lol! We recently got a new vehicle too. It has been a tremendous blessing as well. Much more reliable. It's so amazing to see the way God has been blessing our little family. As well as yours! It's fun to me that our children are the same age. It's amazing the blessings that we have received just from allowing God to decide the size of our family and leaving the birth of each child and it's timing totally in His hands. So many people see children as a burden when God's word is very clear that they are a blessing. We are praying for you! No matter how many stereotypes you might appear to fill, I still know that you're unique! I'm feeling a little bit jealous of all that room, what kind of a van is it?
I'm looking at Jake and I can just hardly believe how old he is! Are you planning a big birthday party for him?

About Me

"But the greatest among you shall be your servant." Matthew 23:11. I'm learning how to be a servant with my two kids and wonderful husband of 6 years. My desire is to glorify the Lord with the life He has given me. I want my family, friends, and strangers to see Christ's love in me and in our home. This is our second year of preschool. As a former teacher, I love teaching my own children! My son turned four this July and my daughter turned two in October. We are expecting a little girl due on September 17th!
