...quoth the Bugga-bug.
You see, that's a phrase that came about a few months back, from dear hubbyman, when one of the children was throwing a pity party for themselves. Statement was made with full pouty lip and whiny voice. Try it yourself. It's quite effective when spoken this way.
Now, seriously. I wouldn't recommend making fun of a child in any circumstance...and this particular instance wasn't quite "making fun OF", but mirroring...and it had the appropriate response, utter and infectious laughter. There was not a whine in the house when the "Schwee" came out. What a blessing.
NOW, however, the 2 year old has adopted the phrase. HOW can a momma keep her face straight when talking to a child about their poor attitude when the 2 year old walks into the room and notices the attitude in question and responds with "Schwee-Schwee-Schweeee, Alley!" and walks out. Once again, hilarity ensues and lesson is over.
Now when did the 2-year old get to be the teacher?
