ALL-righty, then. I just went perusin' some of the other blogs at the party, and realized how much of a goob I am. Kinda like a real party. I hang around the back of the party to get a little more comfortable, then start introducing myself. I guess I should take this time to tell ya a bit about me and mi vida loca. ;)
1. I'm a momma of four, loving living in Germany, on an international tour, funded by the USAir Force...okay, seriously, now. Hubby is military, and we've lived here for the last almost 4 years. Just a beautiful area...see? This was a couple of autumns ago...
2. My four sweet children try me at times, but they're growing me, that's for sure. Example. That boy. or Here. ;)
3. Did I mention that I LOOOOVVVEEEE living in Germany?
4. Sometimes, I, as the teacher, become the student,...more often than I'd like to admit?
5. And I've not been particularly consistent in the blogging, but that's explained here... ;)
Enjoy...grab some chips and salsa and a slice o' that cake over there, and mingle... :D

I love your little avatar. It is so cute:) I'd love to get to Germany some day. My husband and I are planning a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary and Germany is on the short list of where to go. I hope you enjoy the party!
By the way, I'm the girl next to you in the corner who doesn't know anyone so I am chatting incessantly and you'd just wish I'd go away and leave you alone:)

Just dropped by to mingle! How cold has it gotten this winter in Germany? Gone skiing at all? Northern California has been fairly cold this past week.

So are you at the base near Frankfurt. I went to Frankfurt on a schools exchange visit for 3 weeks when i was 15. Didn't have to speak German in any of the shops in town because all the shop assistants knew English/American.

So great that you love Germany!! My hubby's dad was in the military and my hubby lived there from 3-6/7years old. He doesn't remember much German though ;) I visited Germany with my parents when I was a teenager. It is very beautiful.
So nice to meet you - and why did you call yourself a "goob?" I am confused...what is wrong with your post??!?

Where do you live? Maybe i met you! We were at Ramstein.
I go by my middle name (Marie) - I have 2 munchkins 6 yo and 3and 1/2 yo - my daughter is learning German right now and always tells me how much she misses Germany.
well, gotta run, i'll come back later and read more of your blog since you are my kinda girl - crafty and all that - I've been meaning to post picts of some of my projects but I'm way behind on photo albums!
