It's been just a beautiful day here in Germany.
When I drove out this morning to do the grocery shopping, it looked like God had just blanketed the world with a thick white blanket of fog. (no snow...yet!) I could barely see the car in front of me. I wish I'd had my camera with me, as the shot on the bridge would've been something special. I could see the bridge, but absolutely NOTHING past the railings. Totally white. Couldn't even see the mountains at the end of the bridge until I was just about to pass them. SO VERY COOL!
By the time I got to the commissary to do the groceries, the fog had burned off a bit, and it was still cool, temperature-wise. Left my jacket in the car and went in the store. By the time I came out, it was slightly warm and sunny. Perfect football weather, IMHO. Just beautiful. The air was crisp, the trees changing in clusters, and leaves beginning to fall. Just gorgeous! The kids ended up spending most of the day playing out back, and they positively collapsed into bed tonight. Just wonderful!
I was able to get two dresses for each dd and a vest for each ds cut out, but no stitching done, yet. I've still got to spend some time this week taking care of that quilted wall hanging example for the ladies' class this week. I've got to get it finished to show them. I finally DID get the instructions settled out. Hoping I get some time in on Monday, with hubbyman home.
Not much going on here tonight, and it's too late to think seriously.
Still trying to get the blog the way I want it, so be patient. I did finally ask hubby to show me how to code enough that I can edit the template and get it more or less what I'm looking for.
Hope you all have a truly blessed SonDay!
hugs,
beck
