I'm a homeschool mom of 3 daughters. My aim in life is to glorify God by loving and serving my family, grow personally in my walk with Him, and being a Titus 2 woman to those younger than me. This blog is to share what God is doing in my life and in the life of our homeschool.
Princess is 9 years old . She was born a princess and continues to hold the title. She loves all things girlie and is talented in all things crafty.
Pixie is 7 and a half. She has a passion for truth, loves rocks and shells and has a huge collection of them.
Peanut is 5. She is fun loving, happy all the time and can make anybody laugh.
1. I am really thankful for my laptop. I love having my computer in my lap while I sit on the couch. It doesn't help my posture though.
2. I am thankful that our house plans are finished and that we can start meeting with builders.
3. I am thankful that Halloween is almost over.
I know, not really very interesting. I really don't like Halloween so I'm always glad when we can focus on Thanksgiving. The other two--I am blessed. My husband bought me my laptop for my birthday. I am thinking he may be regretting it though. As far as our house, well, we have always lived in an old house and if you live in one too you understand that there is always something to be fixed or fixed up and we are not good at these things. We are slow, and so live a long time with something unfinished and when we finally get to fixing it, if we hire someone, it always, and I mean always ends up being more work for us. We have really bad luck finding any good worker/fixer person. So the idea of building a house, which has been an idea for a very long time, is finally starting to move into a real possibility and I am just ecstatic. I am sure I will keep you posted as there is more to tell.
Okay, I don't think you can ever write anything that is boring. You are too cool of a cookie for that.
Ummm...I love my laptop too, but (besides the posture) it is also waaaay too easy to waste away the hours...er, minutes, yeah...minutes on the computer! :-) And actually picking out the houseplan is one of the most difficult parts...so hopefully it will be easy-ish for you from this point on.
I can't wait to get past halloween too. But I'd much rather jump ahead to Christmas!!!
Thank you for the great links for Thanksgiving. I, too, enjoy Thanksgiving and am looking forward to spending the next several weeks with my daughters reading about Thanksgiving, doing craft projects, a couple service projects (one being Operation Christmas Child), and creating lapbooks so they can look back and remember all the things for which they are thankful. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
