I'm a homeschool mom of 3 daughters. My aim in life is to glorify God by loving and serving my family, grow personally in my walk with Him, and being a Titus 2 woman to those younger than me. This blog is to share what God is doing in my life and in the life of our homeschool.
Princess is 9 years old . She was born a princess and continues to hold the title. She loves all things girlie and is talented in all things crafty.
Pixie is 7 and a half. She has a passion for truth, loves rocks and shells and has a huge collection of them.
Peanut is 5. She is fun loving, happy all the time and can make anybody laugh.
1. I am thankful for time change. We got up earlier (although not early) this morning and finished school at noon. We have yet to do that this year. So this afternoon I ran errands and it pooped me out.
2. I am thankful for my husband who appreciates whatever I cook. He also eats leftovers.
3. I am thankful for the library. We went today to get another big stack of books. Along with that is being able to reserve books and have them sent to my local branch. Our main Library is downtown and I never go there. Not because it isn't nice, it is, and brand new to boot. I don't like to go there because I cannot park for free. So, if I don't watch it I will get a ticket. Since I already have to put up with minor late fees here and there, I didn't want to deal with the possiblity of a parking ticket. We also have two or three branches of our library and one is fairly close to my home. I get an email when my books have arrived. Easy!
We went today also, well, just I did. I had to rush there when dh go thome b/c our library does NOT have user friendly hours (theyclose by six pm every night but one) the books are old, worn copies.
I'm thankful that my dh eats anything too. He makes it too easy!
Hey! You're blogging early tonight! Good for you. My son's birthday cake just finished baking so I'm going for three days in a row of early sleep!
Bless you,
Jen
I always groan about the fall time change because the kids get up way too early for me. But this year we started putting them to bed later about two weeks ago in preparation and it helped.
I love the library too, only I always go downtown. Last time I got to go alone and that was really fun- picking out the kids books by myself! I do need to take advantage oƒ their online services more.
Have a great evening.

I'm with you on the library thing, I think it is one of my favorite things. Piles of books to take home for FREE! Our library does not have as many books or as many copies of books so often I am on waiting lists or they have to pull a book from another city close by. I also agree on the husband thing...I'm so thankful for a husband who is happy with whatever I make, especially the vegetarian thing because I know a lot of husbands would have a problem with that and mine doesn't at all.
Thanks for the info! I hadn't received an invite yet...I will get the directions from Faye.
Sounds like you've had your own share of trouble! I'm glad your ankle is healing and that you didn't injure yourself on the second fall. Stay away from stairs for awhile!! ;)
I do have my hands on a copy of that message (finally!)...still haven't carved out the time to listen to it though! How is your search going? Have you settled on a place yet?
