Ryan turned 10 years old last month and we had him at our home for his sleepover this past weekend. We enjoyed the time spent with him. His Granddaddy plays a good game of chess and Ryan knew he was in for a challenge, but he hung in there and learned some very interesting manuevers.
We tried to stay active outside and for the most part we succeeded. When his daddy came to pick him up after work, one tired Nana kissed her "Perfect 10" grandson goodbye and took a nap!
Looks like you had a great day together, BUT!!!!! It was hard to concentrate with the thought of CHOCOLATE Skittles. Chocolate Skittles? Who Knew? Have you tried them? I haven't seen it rain chocolate rainbows on my TV yet!
What precious memories with your grandson! My kids recently lost grandma and although it has been the hardest thing we have ever endured I'm so glad for all those great memories! Make memories, make memories, make memories! Love every moment!
Boy, I should do this with my grandkids, but wow. Multiply that by 7---all from Dec--April and I just get weary thinking about all those sleepovers! That would be almost every other weekend!
You are such good grandparents!
It is nice that you live near enough to your grandkids that they can visit you often. We live 15 hours from both sets of grandparents and I am sometimes regretful that we don't see them frequently.
I am not a home educator, but am very proud of my daughter, jenn4him, who homeschools my three precious grandchildren. I admire you all. Thank you for being my source of inspiration.
May God Bless You,
Mama Karen
