Jan. 25, 2006 - today i'm the goop girl
Ugg... my family's cold has caught me! When Andy announced Monday that he was getting a sore throat, i knew it was coming! Of course being preggo means my immunity is shot and so every cold even remotely floating around me, i suck in and absorb. Oh well.. So, i'm vegging out and not accomplishing much of anything today, except hopefully scaling Mount Laundry. So i thought i'd blog! Aside from a dream i had about an ex boyfriend last night, which would certainly not be appropriate to blog about, i'm about all out of interesting things to say. My life is pretty basic. And as far as i'm concerned that's completely fine with me. Excitement is highly overrated, and as a grown up, i have found that "excitement" usually entails a vehicle suddenly not working, or some inlaw crisis or another. I'll take boring any day!
OH wait. i DO have something interesting to talk about! Yesterday, we went for my first midwife appointment and we got to hear tadpole's heartbeat! I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow, and it was so reassuring to finally get to hear the little swimmy one!
Well, it appears free time is over... Anna has just coated herself in chocolate sandwich cookie filling, and i need to go de-slime her... later-- Rebecca
