Jul. 7, 2007 - Busy, Busy, Busy!
It has been so busy here lately, I've been having problems getting any time to myself - so, whilst DS and DH are at the Gym, I've grabbed some time on the computer!
Anything interesting lately? Well, this week Ds had to go to see the dentist - she is worried that one of his "baby" teeth still hasn't come out and has taken X-rays to see what is going on with his "grown-up" tooth which should have appeared by now. He has to go back next week to have his teeth polished up and to have a plastic coating replaced on one of them. He hates going, but his dentist is lovely with him - he still likes getting a sticker after any treatment (he's still a "little boy" at heart!).
Then I had my monthly injection - on the 4th of July!! I just lay down and thought of all my friends in the USA!
That same evening, DS had his usual swimming class, but this week they were trying out for badges (they get a badge and certificate for however far they can swim). As DS did not even start swimming until he was 9, and has had great problems co-ordinating his movements, we thought he was being a bit over-ambitious putting his name down for swimming 100m (4 lengths of the pool). However, he proved us wrong and by sheer determination he managed it! He actually got two badges (one for 50m and the 100m one). In fact, his coach said that he could probably have managed another 2 lengths, but they were running out of time!
Well, my two "boys" will be back soon - must get some housework done before they arrive back!

Good to see you back! And CONGRATULATIONS to Ds on such a wonderful accomplishment in swimming! You have every right to be proud. BTW thanks for your comment recently, I never managed to pop over and say thanks.
