Apr. 8, 2008 - Interceding for our children
This week's prayer -
Thank You, Lord, that You care about the eternal future of Littlesmurf even more than I do and that it is secure in You. In Jesus' name I pray that he will not doubt or stray from the path You have for him all the days of his life.
"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:3-4
"This is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." 1 John 5:11
My thoughts -
It is truly wonderful to know that God has mapped out the path of Littlesmurf's life from the moment he was born. I am in awe of this, and truly pray that Littlesmurf will not be led astray in what is planned for his future. There are so many evils in the world - all we can do as parents is to endeavour to give our children the tools with which to fight them (God's teachings) and know that our Lord has them at the top of his list as regards their futures.

I am so glad that the Lord loves my boys and has good plans for them. We pray daily that they will follow Him wholeheartedly all the days of their lives. There is peace in trusting an unknown future to a known God.
