Has anyone used this curriculum for upper math, such as pre-algebra or algebra? When we were at field day today, ofcourse the topic for most of the day was, none other than, curriculum. You know how it is when you get a bunch of homeschool moms together. Excitement, Excitement!!LOL Anyway, my oldest DD has had a hard time grasping Algebra. We have used Saxon and now Abeka. A dear homeschool mom was telling me how good this teaching textbooks curriculum was. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

We used Teaching Textbooks this year for Algebra 2.
My daughter loves it. She even laughs during it sometimes.
We feel that he explains it very well, gives some life application when possible, and feel it is more student friendly than Saxon. We used Saxon for three years, but we are Teaching Textbooks users now. *Ü*

I know that they also sell cd-roms you can purchase, if you need to.

After trying literally, every program out there, my son is finally "getting" math with Teaching Textbooks! He is doing the Pre-Algebra, and doing great for the first time in years with math. We plan on using it all the way through now. He is just about done with this book, then we will move into Algebra 1. I HIGHLY recommend them!
