we've been waiting and waiting to find guitar hero for the wii and finally T found it today when he ran out to get something else...
crazy!
we got the Aerosmith version (bcz that's what we could get) and i think i am sick from playing too much...
cons - skimpily dressed cartoon people in some songs - and some songs are not what i would pick for my littles to listen to -
pros - a little bit addictive...
anyway, my *real* workout was earlier
i did 5 sets
bench press (the bar, no weight!) - my maximum reps - 22, 18, 19, 16, 14
pullups (with the medical grade tubing to help me!) - my maximum reps - 9, 10, 8, 7, 7
i don't think i've been pushing myself as much with the workouts as i have with the runs, so i'll try to work harder on that... i think i am too gentle with myself when i start out, but baby is 3 months old now and i should be ready to work harder...
and speaking of things addictive.
oh. my.
she is the sweetest little honey in the whole world. A lot of my babies have been sweet, fat little gerber babies - adorable, fun - but she is different and adorable :) - her little fingers are so delicate and sweet, not chubby at all yet, but soft, soft, soft... Her hair is soft and darker, and her big dark eyes are so expressive. She is at the age where if i'm not holding her, she is looking to see mama, and feel safe, and when i hold her, her little fingernails dig in to try to burrow as deeply into my chest as she can, just to cuddle in and feel safe. She's the friendliest, smiliest, sweetest tempered little baby, and she's sleeping really well again - she's just so little work for so much joy... i'm sooooo glad we had this little baby!!!
she makes my heart melt. |
