• Saturday, December 22, 2007 - Mom's night out
Picture an European restaurant dimly lit, waiters dressed in black slacks and white shirt with an apron hanging down to protect their clothing. Soft murmurs from diners enjoying exquisite meals and six homeschooling mom's cutting up in the back corner. It is our Christmas present to each other every year; a night out without the kids or the husbands. Boy did we have fun last night.
We chatted about our kids, our schooling, our families, even our husbands. Got to know each other really well. Sharing six different desserts while drinking coffee. Wish we could have this not to end but were still shocked that it was so late, 9:10 pm is late for us. LOL! Until next year. *sigh* |
