For Today...

Outside my Window...it's cold...neighbor is getting new carpet installed...otherwise pretty quiet out there

I am thinking...about this upcoming election...so much is at stake

From the learning rooms...need to work on my oldest with her math speed drills, the middle child with his reading, and the youngest with...well at the moment...her little funky attitude

I am thankful for...my husband

From the kitchen...oh....need to plan the menus for the week!

I am wearing...some really worn out clothes...cleaning time!

I am reading...the book of 1Kings in the Bible

I am hoping...we have a nice big snow this winter...the kids need to have some deep snow to play in

I am creating...absolutely nothing LOL!

I am hearing...The Backyardigans

Around the house...sigh...still the same as before...stuff to put on ebay...organizing kids' roooms...laundry...fix lawnmower so I can mow 1 last time...

One of my favorite things...using the grill on the back deck during the fall weather

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...lots of driving this week...nothing special...bunch of errands

Oct. 20, 2008 - The Simple Woman's Daybook - day 2

For Today...

Outside my Window...it is dark, cold, and quiet.

I am thinking...about what goodies I need to buy for the little one's Harvest Party.

From the learning rooms...Economics....hmmm...time to brush up on a little economic vocabulary words!

I am thankful for...the health of my grandmother...that she was able to travel out here from CO to visit with us for an entire week. I hope I am half as mobile as she is at 84!

From the kitchen...my baby's favorite flank steak grilled on the deck...spicy!

I am wearing...tshirt & shorts & sunglasses on my head...it's 9pm...why are they still there?!?

I am reading...newspaper & Bible

I am hoping...to walk at the park 2-3 times each week before the weather gets ridiculously cold.

I am creating...a huge mess in the house while I reorganize.

I am hearing...my lovely daughter empty the dishwasher. TYVM!

Around the house...I have hung 2 new blinds, and have 1 more to do.

One of my favorite things...are the pictures my kids draw for me. (need bigger refrigerator)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Really need to mow the grass one last time...ugh. Bunch of items need to get posted on Ebay. Need to pick out a movie for our movie night this week.

FOR TODAY October 13, 2008...
Outside My Window...no idea...it's dark
I am thinking...about my husband...it's our anniversary
I am thankful for...my family's good health
From the kitchen...IT'S CLEAN!! YAY!
I am wearing...blue sweat pants & tshirt & socks. Brrrrrr!
I am creating...this blog page again....restarting...
I am going...to wake the kids up in a minute
I am reading...the newspaper
I am hoping...gas stays below $4 a gallon for a little while
I am hearing...Good Morning America
Around the house...it's crazy...spring cleaning in the fall going on here...plus rearranging the kids' rooms

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Visiting with my grandma who flew in from CO. Lots of errands.
