I stumbled onto your blog and I noticed these pictures you took. They look lovely!
I think that flower is an "Indian Blanket". I live in Oklahoma, and the Indian Blanket is the State Wildflower, so I am familiar with it. Some other names are "Firewheel" or "Sundance". It's a very pretty flower.
