I walked into work yesterday morning to find that the Department of Health was in the building for their annual survey.  I was both elated and stressed.  Elated because the survey will be over before all of the winter holidays and stressed because a survey team is never here to tell us what we are doing right; only what is wrong.   

There are four surveyors looking at every aspect of our operations.  This group is very silent.  Every other year I had some idea about what was not going well.  I have not been able to read this group at all.  Oh, well, unless something dreadful occurs this will be over by 3pm tomorrow and I'll be able to sleep until I receive the report of how we did.  I don't expect anything too terrible but I've been wrong about that before.

I'm so glad they came already! I'm sure they won't find anything too major...the obligatory something so you don't get the impossible perfect score...
