The Rifle

The Rifle is a book where this guy makes this AWESOME rifle. He bonded with the rifle and didint want to shoot it, because there was this thing back then, where if a rifle doesn't shoot straight or "sweet" as they called it back then the rifle was worthless. The back of the book says, "In 1768 a gunsmith named Cornish McManus built a rifle of such accuracy that he knew he could never create another one like it. It passed on to another and another owner and not once did anyone ever look to see if it was loaded, it was loaded." So I think someones going to get shot, but there is another section of the book where a boy gets ahold of the rifle. I think either he is going to get shot, or he is going to shoot someone. I think its a great book so far. |
