A New Business Owned by a Special LadyMy friend Josephine has started a business and now has a website!!. The website is still in the production phase but it looks wonderful!. Josephine has a sweet spirit and is a wonderful testimony of how God can work in a tragic situation. God is working in her life so much right now and I pray only the best for her. Look what my hubby got me!!I've needed a winter coat for several years. I had one and it was functional but not what I really wanted and it was showing its age. . I found this coat a Kohl's a few weeks ago and after 2 price reductions we bought it, today!! Hooray for sales prices!!! If you can't tell by the picturel it's a rich dark purple.

Protect The Chocolate!!I reached over and took just a bit of Brandon's brownie today. Shame on me. It upset him so much that this is where he ended up. LOL. I didn't ask, I don't blame him. If I had only asked he would have shared with me. Sigh.... He is a boy after my own heart when it comes to chocolate! Notice the dog is hovering too.. Chocolate is a NO NO for dogs!
300 mile day trip..We decided to take a trip today and headed off towards Calico, CA. Calico is an old silver mining town, now it's a "ghost town' (tourist trap). We had a good day!  My FocusI wrote this poem last night right before I went to bed. I was thinking about the revival meeting that started up today, Sunday, at our church. I wanted to really be focused on what God had for me this week. It's ironic, however, I woke up with a cold or allergy attack (I am not sure yet). But I have blurred vision in my left eye & it's swollen.I look like I have pink eye, however I've had pink eye several times and I know this is not pink eye. It's the result of the sinus problem. I am sneezing and very uncomfortable. I am miserable from the symptoms. Well God is in control and I trust He knows what is best. So if He has allowed this to happen, then I believe there is something good coming and Satan is trying to distract me from it. What Is My Focus?
What is my focus Lord, in everything I do? Is my focus on the world, or my focus on You? Is my vision blurred by the worldy things I see? Am I not spending enough time with you, Lord, and on my bended knees? Show me, Lord, what I need to see. Let my focus be on You, Lord. And never on me. Yummy!!The night before my daddy had to leave, he took us all to B&R. It's a tradition of sorts.Enjoying time with my dad (papa)We've had a good relaxing week. We've done some running around and shopping, but mostly we've just relaxed. Papa's gone to several of Brandon's Tae Kwan Do classes. Brandon and he have played several board games too. It's going by way to fast. He leaves on Saturday and it feels like he just got here.
