May Garden

I am starting my list for an order form for my customers and then I am taking samples and first time buyer goodies out into the neighborhood this weekend.
I am trying to get the house in order so I can spend time on this.
Michael has been taking some extra training at work for being on the safety committee. They gave him a leadership type book from John Maxwell and he is excited to read it we don't know much about Maxwell but have heard of him before. It is looking like we've done the right thing in not jumping the gun and pulling out stakes with the company and starting all over somewhere else. Seems they are making plans to build a better company and the employees are past most of the frustration and disappointment ready to work with thankfulness to have a decent job. Mike seems so refreshed he even said he wanted to get some specific things done this weekend verses mainly re-coop from his work!
The boys are watching the movie Where the Red Fern Grows and I am planning to read aloud the book Kid Power again. We need to be glad to work for our families and ourselves. Maybe the will have some extra ideas and want to as well.
I know Mike wants them to learn to speak to adults about their goals and projects. So as we do our fundraising they can have some special opportunity to do so.
In the Fall I'd also like to do the Dutch Bulb Company sales for a fundraiser. Anyone else fundraise through them? We live in a kinda depressed area so I don't know how many people are interested n adding bulbs to their yards but even if we get a few sales I'll be glad to have tried.
