Update as of July 19th ....
We'd gone over to their place and showed kindness to the teen they have with them I gave her some cookies I'd baked and Mike even gave her a potted sunflower to transplant into their garden. She's given us some veggies from their garden last week and then I stopped over and chatted with her for a good 15 mins before our evening walk the other day and gave her some more baked goods made zuchinni bread from one of the zukes she'd given us.
I'd been making attempts to show we had no hard feelings and wanted to stay on the path of forgiveness and then this lady's husband came over by himself tonight and told me that his wife was giving a false impression to us that in fact she WAS THE ONE that called the police, that she was even keeping that hidden from him until he somehow found out today!
Oh! This is really too bad but I at least have been doubly warned to stand clear of her. She obviously has some confusion going on within. I actually am feeling blessed that the Lord let me see what is going on enough to protect us from IT and that I don't feel angry but feel like I want to pray for her.
