Leopard Frog found in our neighbors yard early fall 2007

In captivity for an afternoon

We had a great time watching his preferences  for damp  sand and looking at the foot prints he left inside the aquarium  that we use for observation.

We've caught  leopard frogs more than once in our yard and also toads.

We have read about amphibians and the kids know how to identify them and know habits etc...

Lina even knows " Leopard Frog!"

Till our next catch...

Thanks for sharing! How fun for you all to find a frog to study.

I've not seen one of those around here. Our frogs haven't been that colorful. My MIL tells me that frogs are great for keeping bugs out of your garden :) So I'm always happy when one decides to make it's residence in our yard!

God Bless! Pam
