• Jun. 7, 2008 - More on Human Development!
I don't think I posted here about the wonderful educational tool on human development I found recently EHD I am so thrilled that this is a great place for all ages to explore the created human.
They even offer a very unique pregnancy calendar.
I have another blog called Birthing a Quiverfull
Birthing a Quiverfull is a celebration of LIFE and a place to educate one in Sanctity of Life concepts.
I usually place a little time each week to continue my studies in this area and update the blog. I want to leave a legacy of knowledge to my children that can not be taken away. A love for life and appreciation to the one that Created them and who will bless them with a family of their own some day!
I want both my girls and boys to be very comfortable around birth and engage themselves in a caring for the next generation.
I want my boys to be nurturers and support the women in their lives in this important experience of bring ing forth life!
And I want my girls to be prepared to care for themselves and their babies.
This means they all must be educated in pregnancy and birthing issues so they may be guided to make the best decisions possible in their special season of life bearing.
I hope others find great resources to teach their own or even engage in Birth Education to expecting parents. |

• Jun. 6, 2008 - Baby!
Wanted to share this beautiful video... put together by three sisters Maddy 11 does the talking, Emily 15 wrote and played the music, Jessica 18 painted the pictures. They all wrote the script. It is amazing.
And my first belly shot... I took it myself. I'll add a full picture sometime soon.

18 weeks along about halfway through gestation as my babies tend to come early!
Timmy prayed such a beautiful prayer at the dinner table last night. He piped in that he wanted to pray and so I let him lead... he thanked the Lord for the nice food we have and he prayed for the whole family including that when our little baby gets born mommy wouldn't have a lot of pain!
Thank you for the encouragement Timmy! I love you! |

• Nov. 5, 2007 - Amphibians!
Leopard Frog found in our neighbors yard early fall 2007

Luke holds his 'friend' for the day to get a good look at him

Belly Shot

Front Profile ;^)

Beautiful Markings

Webbed Feet

In captivity for an afternoon
We had a great time watching his preferences for damp sand and looking at the foot prints he left inside the aquarium that we use for observation.
We've caught leopard frogs more than once in our yard and also toads.
We have read about amphibians and the kids know how to identify them and know habits etc...
Lina even knows " Leopard Frog!"
Till our next catch... |

" Are those my tracks? Couldn't be. "

" Mama, Please keep this stuff out of my ears. "

" I can't seem to get a hold of this stuff, mama! "

" My toes rreally Like it! "

" It's dry and cool at the same time. "
