Why does it work like this?

I have figured out that kids don't want to do their work when you want them to. But, let it be on a weekend when you are just trying to get things together for the next week and it never fails. All I hear is 'Mom, can i have some schoolwork to do?' I just cannot get a handle on this and get them to do it no matter what. Without the fight,, pleads and arguements associated with it. I just laugh about it. Give them something they can do on their own with very little instruction and go from there. |

Well, I am new to this whole blogging thing. Although I shouldnt be considering I am on the computer 24/7. LOL! So, i may ramble but who knows. I have been homeschooling my kids for 3 years. every since the oldest was really old enough to actually go to school. My husband and I decided that was the best thing to do for them. Not only because it was cheaper and obviously safer than other alternatives but it was the best way for our children to learn what we want them to learn and when not when someone else does. I love it. It can be very taxing as anyone who homeschools knows. But, I also work at home doing customer service so my days are VERY full. |
