Trip to Knight's FerryPosted at 9:12 PM on May. 9, 2008
We went to the Iris Garden and Knight's Ferry for a homeschool field trip. Here is a picture of the Knight's Ferry bridge: It is the longest covered bridge this side of the Mississippi river. The original bridge was washed away by a flood in 1862. Then in 1863, this bridge was bulit. We went passed the battlefield where I died.... My family is planning to go to Pennsylvania in June..can't wait because we will be going to the Gettysburg battlefield!!! To you non-Civil War geeks (including my dad) that was one of the most important battles of the war. Weird Civil War picturesPosted at 5:57 PM on May. 6, 2008
Can you guess what this is?
Bean Boozled!Posted at 10:43 AM on Apr. 3, 2008
We went to the Jelly Belly factory on Tueday. Since it was April Fool's day, Jelly Belly came out with these wacky flavors called Bean Boozled jelly beans. Here are some of the depicable flavors: Skunk Spray, Pencil Shavings, Rotten Egg, Toothpaste, Ear Wax, Vomit, Booger, Moldy Cheese, Baby Wipes, and Black Pepper (this jelly bean has real black pepper in it! gross!!). These weird flavored jelly beans look like some of the good beans so like Pencil Shavings looks like Top Banana or Rotten Egg looks like Buttered Popcorn. Warning!!:If the jelly bean is Licorice, Top Banana, Buttered Popcorn, Berry Blue, Cafe Latte, Peach, Juicy Pear, Caramel Corn, Coconut, or Plum please take caution when attempting to eat any of these!!!! You will regret it!!

Taking apart a cameraPosted at 2:34 PM on Mar. 18, 2008
I decided to start to take apart my old camera (it was broken anyway!) and was amazing at how many circuit boards, tiny screws, brackets, and other micro sized components were in a camera! Here is a picture: Can you see the little words on the circuit board? After seeing that picture, you now know why you shouldn't drop these things! Movie gamePosted at 1:51 PM on Mar. 18, 2008
I came up with this a few days ago, Think of an actor or actoress's name then put in a sentence. If you're not getting it here's some examples: Shirley was at the temple praying. (Shirley Temple) Tom went on a cruise last week. (Tom Cruise) Orlando's flowers bloom in Spring. (Orlando Bloom) Johnny was deppressed yesterday. (Johnny Depp) Now you try!! Here's some ideas: Hayden Christensen, James Earl Jones, Frank Oz, Christopher Lee Posted at 4:07 PM on Mar. 9, 2008
We found my tortoise dead in his house. He died of an unknown cause as of now until we figure out what it was that killed him. Nate Gardner said a few words of honor and we saluted and buried him on his estate. He was only 6 years old when he could have lived 60+ years. Here is Goliath at 4 or 5 years old:

More Lego movies and Civil War reenactmentsPosted at 7:33 PM on Feb. 28, 2008
I have made three new Lego movies recently and will be posting them on YouTube soon. Two of them are more Civil War movies and the last is: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4!! Both of the Civil War ones have become my favorites very quickly!! I am now a "paid member" of the ACWA (American Civil War Association) and will be at the Knights Ferry (March 29th & 30th), Nevadas City (Sept. 10th), and maybe Fresno (October sometime? Not sure.) reenactments. I can't wait....!!! I be a medic at Knights Ferry and a soldier at following events and I will be in the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Company G, Third Brigade, First Division, Fifth Corps, Army of the Potomac. Try to say that three times fast!!!! Winter Camp 2 007Posted at 1:24 PM on Jan. 1, 2008
I went to our church's winter camp this year. The theme this year was secret agent, James Bond, etc. The games were awesome!!! Here is a few: A-frames: There was three 2x4's shaped like an "A" and there was four ropes attached to the top. You had one person on the A-frame and 4 or more people holding onto the ropes. The person had to work with his teammates the 'walk' the frame. The Train: There was two 2x4's with leather staps attached to the sides on both boards evenly spaced. Four people put their feet in the straps and had the walk all at the same time to move the boards. This is not easy!!! Squares: The first box was about 4' by 4' and the second box was about 2' by 2'. The object was to get your whole team on the one of the boxes all at the same time!! The 2' by 2' box was the hardest because we had a big team!! Here is our church's youth group website: www.pariahpro.com Hint: Click on the star next the word 'light'

Making a dummyPosted at 4:28 PM on Dec. 19, 2007
It took maybe 2 to 3 hours to make. Can you see the hair? I thought it would be funny to make a dummy that looked like my sister to see what my dad would do when he noticed. I had Kelsey hide in her closet until my dad noticed that it wasn't Kelsey but a dummy! I liked how it turned out. It's so real you have to look twice before you notice it's fake! Civil War....Posted at 12:19 PM on Oct. 30, 2007
I went to the Civil War reenactment on Saturday and it was the biggest reenactment I've ever been to!!! It was huge!!! I even got to go on the battlefield and be a medic in the battle. If you like the Civil War you should go next year. It's in Fresno at Kearney Park on October 18-19th. I will be going next year and will be one of the reenactors!!! I'm going to be in the 20th Maine, Company G. It was very fun and when you're on the battlefield you get the experience of what it was like being in a battle during the Civil War.
In the future...Posted at 4:14 PM on Oct. 24, 2007
This is what I want to be able to do someday with my 3-D software: I want to do this kind of stuff but in a Lego film not just a picture! But its going to take a long time till I can do that because I started taking the lessons that come with the software and there is a lot of stuff to learn!!! A totaled car..Posted at 8:12 PM on Oct. 23, 2007
Going off subject for a little bit here is a picture of my dad's car: First thing nobody was hurt!!! The car in front of him blew a front tire and veered toward my dad's car and my dad turned a sharp left and drifted on the median then drove across the road and hit a hump on the side of the road then slowly started tipping over and rolled until he landed (see above). I suggested using it for target practice for my .22 caliber rifle, but it didn't go over well!!

My next movie will come out near the end of the year. It's called "David's Mighty Men" and its based on Bible verses in Chronicles....somewhere......I forgot where it was, but it will be in the movie. I'll post it on my blog when I'm done with it. It will be the best movie I've ever made!!!

![]() Movie linksPosted at 11:27 AM on Sep. 26, 2007
Here is links for my newest movies have fun!!!: Ninja Training, Kick The Can. These are my smoothest ones I've made so far!! The picture shakes a little bit because I couldn't get the camera to stay still! The movies were made as test runs, that's why they're not very long. I'm thinking of making another test movie that will be longer and not shake so much. It will come out near Christmas so I wouldn't be posting it on here very soon.

A new Lego moviePosted at 11:46 AM on Jun. 5, 2007
I just made a new Lego short a few days ago and have just finished it yesterday. It is called "The Pole" and it is about this guy who trying to get a pole out of his backyard and does not succeed. So he ends up using it as a flag pole. It is really funny! Here is a link for it: The Pole I am making another short, first it shows a 4x4 car driving though a rough terrain then it shows a street car racing toward a ramp. That's all I'm going to tell you because I don't want to give it away, then you would already know and my short wouldn't do so well! Continued...Posted at 10:23 AM on May. 18, 2007
Sorry I have not posted anything for a while I went on vacation and the days after were very busy. I was looking though my Lego catalog and I found a contest for a Star Wars Lego movie that was coming soon. I thought I'd enter so I made a storyboard (usually I don't). Now for anyone who has Windows Movie Maker and is a beginner I'll tell you how to use it in my next entry. But here is links for my two movies that I'm making that will come out next year: Gettysburg; Lego Star Wars. <- Last Page | Next Page -> |
