We found my tortoise dead in his house. He died of an unknown cause as of now until we figure out what it was that killed him. Nate Gardner said a few words of honor and we saluted and buried him on his estate. He was only 6 years old when he could have lived 60+ years.

Here is Goliath at 4 or 5 years old:

Poor Goliath. You should get a snail and name him David.
So what's the deal? You don't like my blog when I write on it? Only when Rachel writes on it?

So sorry to hear about your tortoise, but are you sure he isn't hibernating, they do hibernate, and can seem very much dead. We buried mine when I was a kid, and he dug himself back up a few weeks later.
