We found my tortoise dead in his house. He died of an unknown cause as of now until we figure out what it was that killed him. Nate Gardner said a few words of honor and we saluted and buried him on his estate. He was only 6 years old when he could have lived 60+ years. Here is Goliath at 4 or 5 years old:

As much (or as little) as we saw him Goliath will be missed he was a cool tortoise!.

Maybe we can look into another compadre for you. We are very sorry to hear about Goliath. He was a cool tortise and we will miss him when we come to visit. Love Grandpa and Grandma B

So sorry to hear about your tortoise, but are you sure he isn't hibernating, they do hibernate, and can seem very much dead. We buried mine when I was a kid, and he dug himself back up a few weeks later.
