Jun. 17, 2009 - Messed up Priorities.. ever get those??
Wow.. I'm beginning to notice how many Self portaits I put up.. I hope you guys don't think I'm vain or anything (?).
I have noticed my priorities are kinda off right now. More on the things of this world rather the "things of God"... Gosh that sounds so religeous:S I guess we could call them the "God things" that sounds more up to date huh?? Nah I think I'll stick to the traditional wouldn't want to step on anybodies toes:S
Anywho I've got to get my mind back on God, Family and Church but sometimes Friends, internet, and Guys seem so much more interesting! not they're bad when taking in the right amounts but when your focasing all your time on them like myself it becomes a problem... You got any thoughts on this????

The last couple of ones was from when i went to the oldest Covered Bridge/Mill in the st. of Missouri! It's something we do every year! I can't wait to go next year with my Rebel:)
Hey you guys.. I did some self portraits.. I just wish I could change my profile picture but it says the pictures are too large! so untill I get that fixed I'm going to have the super duper OLD picture of me as my profile picture lol!
I Should be getting the Rebel XSi pretty soon.. I'll be baby sitting for the summer and We're having a yard sale soooooo I should be able to get one soon!!!!!! So as soon as I get one you'll probably have to check up on me dayly to see my new pictures!!! Idk We'll seeee:)

Well, I've been practiceing music allot here lately.. I've been playing the guitar rather then the piano and I just LOVE IT!!
Also Looking forward to FineArts!! but it's not untill Augest sooo I got awhile to wait but untill then we're getting ready with allot Fund Raisers and that's been keeping me busy!

It's been a great month sooo far. Easter was good.. I got to see the Hannah Montana show and I won $35 dollars on my Keyhole picture (I posted it in the last blog)!!!!!! here's some more pics I've taken this month:)
Mar. 13, 2009 - Did we make it to Nationals? read and find out.
Well Fine Arts was amazing:) The long ride up there in a VERY crowded van with 6 stinky guys kinda sucked but we managed to have some fun singing some Random Songs and talking:) I was sooo nervous when we got there here's a picture I took walking up to the university (none of these are very good or anything.. just randomness)
We had gotten there pretty late so the auditorium was so full we had to go up into the balcany but i wasn't complaining. I saw it as the perfect oportunity for a picture...
When I saw the vastness of the stage I suddenly had a nervous feeling in the pit of me telling me and I that this is the room we were performing in:S
But it all went well when We performed actually I wouldn't call it a performace more like nine random kids, doing there thing, Worshiping their Creator!! It was soooo amazing how the judges disapeared once we got on that stage, how the crowd became an empty room and how focased it was:) We were told afterward that We had the best Vocal we had ever done but I hadn't paid attention to how we sounded just who we were singing for!!!
Other then that we had a whole lot of fun watching others perform.. there were some amazing people there. 32 out of our group of 70 got superior with Invitation (meaning: going to Nationals) and the rest got Superior... which is not going to Nationals.

soooo at the end of the day we were all really really wanting to know how we placed but they wouldn't tell us untill they had all 70 results and we were one of the first to get our results so we had a long time to wait but finally they started the results and we were the last to get our results anounced it was very intence. Pastor Aaron called Aftershock up to the front with Freedom Rock surounding us, it was completely quiet for the first time all weekend, Aaron told us that we made a good effort and that no matter what the results next year we'll be more perpared... I almost zoned out thinking "We didn't make it" but then I saw a sparkle in my Youth pastors eye and then he said "You made Superior.............................. WITH INVITATION!!!" this was our responce...

After hugging and Crying and hugging some more we all got our phones out and called about a dozen people each... telling every one of our success!!!
When we got back they had a huge Banner for us and cheers from all the parents!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! and then when I got back one of my photography pictures got displayed onthe home page of a photography site... so pretty much a great weekend huh?? Here's the picture...
For those of you who don't know Fine Arts Festible is held in Spring field Missouri where you can do Sermons, solo's, duets, guitar Solo's, painting, Photography, and allot of other stuff. You perform in front of three judges and then an hour later find out if you made it to nationals or not!! I'll be singing with our youth band "Aftershock"and it's just soo amazing how much we've grown from this experience already. God has really been working in our youth group, people are getting saved, worshiping God with their whole hearts , we're just growing so much in size and in spirit... it's just sooo overwhelming:)
Any who, we've been practiceing like 7 hours a week for Fine Arts.. it's been pretty crazzy around here to say the least:S Tonight we're joining youth band "Freedom Rock" and having a huge Worship night before leaving for Fine Arts Friday!! I'm excited but very nervous:S
I'll be taking plenty of Pictures this weekend to show you guys everything about my experiences:) I hope to get some good ones... either way I'll post a blog about it:D
So what up ya'll?? It's been crazzzy around here. I've been doing just about nothing but singing, taking pictures or working on our new house... which is like almost done and I can not WAIT!!! lol:P
So yeah, about singing? Our Youth band "Aftershock" has just got back from doing a three services in one day!!! Reaching out to at least 200 kids in all. WOW!!! I was sooooo amazed seeing those kids worship God so freely with out any shame at all. They are seriously on fire for God and I just wander why the youth kids can't be alittle more like that. Any way it was a pretty rough day for all of us but it's getting us prepared for Fine Arts which is on the first weekend in March. I am pretty nervous, there's going to be hundreds of people there and I'm leading part of it:S AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! hahaha... but somehow I'll make it through.
Sooo about my Photography.. I got to see a Rebel XSi today at Best Buy:D I showed it to my friend and she allready wants me to do her senior pictures!! I told her that won't happen unless I get enough money for it... but I'm not gonna give up!!
I've been waiting to get the Rebel for a couple months now. I don't have a job and I don't get allowence so instead of Presents for Christmas I saved the money my parents and Grandparents would have spent on them. It was hard but I know it will be worth it in the end!
Photography hasn't always been my Passion. It had always been Music and writing untill recently now I love it more then anything! But for some reason allot of my friends don't understand. The other day someone told me they were saving for a camra and that they almost had enough money for it. So, of course I told them that I was too, except it was going to take me half a year to save for the one I want and of course her responce was "What? Why?" so I told her that the one I want ed was like $600-$700. They couldn't believe their ears and said "I would NEVER pay that much for a camra! what's the use when $100 camra's are perfectly fine?" I felt like telling her she didn't know what she was talking about and that she should shut her mouth but all I said was "Well, Photography happens to be my hobby!" and she siad "it's my hobby too but I don't go around talking about a $700 camra!" so I said "Well, Since I'm going to be a Photographer it's kind of important!!"
Untill I get my Rebel XSi I've been using my Camra phone mostly I also have a pretty nice Degital that NEVER seems to have good batteries! lol:P I'm apart of a great Photogrpahy comunity at http://www.viewbug.com/ ! it's an amazing site where you can easily share your pictures or video with people all around the world. You can also enter Challanges where you can win up to $200!! I've had many people comment on my pictures and if your into that kind of thing I would suggest you get a view bug account!!

I live In a small town in Southern Missouri... or the 'Bootheel" as we call it . I've been homeschooled since Kindergarden. I have two red-headed siblings, Ashley and Matthew. My mom is the BEST and My Dad is a full time Worship Leader/Song Writer but his cd has yet to be produced. With His infulence I have grown up for a deep appreciation for Worship, singing, playing music and my heavenly Father. I've played the keyboard since I was about 8 and I just started playing the accustic guitar last year but I've been singing since I could talk!! In March I will be competing in a state wide compition, held in Springfield, called "Fine Arts" where I will be back-up singing for our Youth group "After Shock." (I be will post a blog about my Experience).
My life is consumed with getting through 11th grade, saving for a camra so I can take Photography Courses, trying to get a job, going to my Freakin Awsome Youth group where I have many many friends who keep me busy, Two different Worship Practices, working at our new house we're building on to and hanging out with my BFF.
