Well, it's been a wonderful and blessed day, albeit, a tad warmer than I would like. Ok, a lot warmer......See, I like the weather to match the season. Summer should be hot, but not too hot. Fall, should be cool and crisp and colorful. Winter, should have MOUNDS OF SNOW, but none of that wet rainy stuff all the time and spring should be lightly warm with lots of flowers and greenery and birds chiping. Right now, it's November and I would love for it to be cool and crisp with lots of leaves to jump in and mess all over the place. Not today! It's warm and muggy and has been for the past few days. Ick! It's also rainy. Ickier!
It was pretty fall-ish weather a couple weeks ago, though and for that, I am thankful. It was great! Nice and crisp and cool, during the day with the light jackets and the trees turning and then at night, Brrrrrr! Loved it! Oh, well, I figure, Mother Nature is just shaking out all the last heat waves left over from summer, so she can get ready for the real fall/winter weather, so I am being patient, though it's hard when I hear from other people from other parts of the country that it's cold and snowing!!! I am waiting to pull out the Christmas tree and decors when then weather calls for it. It would be so wierd to me to have all that out when it still feels like summer..... Siiiiigh.......
Well, I hope you all are having a lovely day today. School started later, but we breezed through it, though the load is heavier, due to my Daughter starting on reading. So proud of her! She's been practicing writing her first name in cursive. I don't remember starting cursive until second grade....and summer vacation lasted for three months when I was a kid, not two months, like how it is for today's kids.....Wonder why that is?.....
Anyways, I have to do some major dishes today. My sink doth floweth over.....Hehe...
My hubby's deployed overseas and so we are looking forward to his phonecall tonight!!! Yay! I got a surprise phone call from him last night. Totally unexpected and just such a pleasant surprise. He was waiting on one of his friends to go to lunch and he was killing time, so he gave me a call. I can brag. He loves me! Hehe. Seriously, it was so nice to hear his voice and I really needed that phone call. Our Lord know things and He knew I needed that call and I am sure, He laid it on my hubby's heart to give his lonely wife a call of encouragement. God is so good!
Well, I am quite the chatterbox, so I will hop off now and hopefully, none of you fell asleep while reading this. WAKE UP!!!!! Hehe. Hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed day! Till then........hugs,
