....so, I am getting on, now, to say hello and get my post in when I have the chance! Yesterday, I took a lil' break from the 'puter, so I could get out of the house and have some fun and relax. All that rain keeping us cooped up in the house was getting to me! So, yesterday, I didn't post an entry and then I apologize to all of you ladies who stopped by to say hello and I didn't respond! I still haven't had a chance to respond yet today, but I will try tonight when things settle down. Let's see......what's in store for today......
Oh yes, well, school will begins in exactly 30 minutes-late in the day, I might add. We are getting a slow and late start on the school today, but that's okay. Then after school , we will be cleaning the house, from top to bottom! I don't know what it is, but sometimes I will be sitting on the couch and get to looking around and I start noticing lil' things here and there that need to be cleaned or fixed or something's just not settling right with me about it, so then it nags and eats at me until I actually do something about it. So that's what today is for! After house cleaning, I need to run back to the grocery store and get the rest of my groceries, since yesterday, when I went, all the groceries couldn't fit into my cart! So, I am gonna get the rest today. Then, when we get back, my daugther and I will pull the Christmas tree out. Not gonna set it up until tomorrow evening or afternoon, I think. I had originally planned not to set it up and decorate until after Thanksgiving, but my daughter asked me last night with sweet sparkling eyes and a pleaful expression that only a sweet innocent child could pull off, "Mommy can we decorate the Christmas tree when we get home?" And I just took one look at that innocent sweet face, with the rosy cheeks and nose from the winter weather and those big bright blue eyes and told her her that we will pull it out tomorrow (today) and get started decorating on Saturday. She's so excited! Hehehe. I just love that my daughter is old enough, now to really appreciate the holiday cheer! She helps mommy bake and decorate and she gets so excited. It really gets me excited and brings back nastalgic memories of my days as a child, waiting up for Santa to come down the chimney and fill the stocking and eat the cookies and drink the milk my brother and I set out. That was not only a treat of Santa, but to us, it was a lure to get Santa to come over to where we were hiding so we could see him! Hehe. Oh, those were the days, and it's so fun to get to make it that much fun with my child, now.
Oh, my hubby called last night! It was so wonderful to get to hear his voice! He's so ready to come home and so are we! But he's doing good and hanging in there.
Well, girls, I will stop by and return your beautiful messges and kind thoughts tonight! Not a lot of fun stuff will be going on today, just busy work, as you can see, but it will be a blessed day for my daughter and I, none the less! Barry, our cat, is doing much better, thank you, to those, who asked about the "drama king"! I hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed day, as well. Love all of you and God bless! Hugs,

I do feel like a scrooge though. My aunt loves to decorate. This year she wanted to do something new. So, she put up 4 more trees. Her 20 (YES TWENTY) trees have been up since the first week of November. Grandbaby #3 was due to be delivered by c-section on November 11. Good thing she didn't wait. He decided he would rather be born on November 7.
Sounds like you are having a busy day. ! need to clean too ~
