Good day everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying this lovely weekend. I am enjoying it and relaxing today. I do have a little bit of laundry to put up, but other than that, it is a day of rest. We missed church today, though. I set my alarm clock for 8, but instead of setting it for am, I set the thing for pm....so needless to say, we slept in unintentionally. I woke up at 9 am this morning and was thinking I was till dreaming and was so confused as to why my clock was 9 o'clock and not 8 o'clock and then the sleepy hazy fog lifted and clarity set in. Oh my! I missed church!!! Cruuuud........so, I will be going to evening service at the least to try and make up missing out on Sunday school and church. I had homework that I even did for Sunday school class that I completed yesterday and for what? Nothing, now! Oh well....you win some, you lose some.
Oh, I can't remember if I mentioned this, but my hubby is coming home in three weeks!!!!!! I am soooo, so, soo excited!!!! We are in the homestretch, now. I got to talk to my hubbers last night and he's doing good, just tired of looking at the sand and the hot weather and all that work. He has the night shift, too, so double ick. But he's hanging in there because he knows he's gonna be here before Christmas. My daugther has so much to show her daddy that she has learned! She can write her name in cursive and knows her numbers 1-100 and knows how her math addition. Yep, she's doing so good, and yes, I can brag! Hehe. Did I mention she's 5 and in kindergarten?
So, how many of you gals braved the early morn the day after Thanksgiving to shop for bargains, bargain, bargains? I did!!! I never ever shop the day after Thanksgiving, but this time we had to get up early to take our new kitty, Dudley to the vet for vaccinations, and declaw and treatment of an upper respitory tract infection. Got to the vet at 7 am, and figured, "Why not? Might as well run by the mall and Wally World (Wal Mart to those who don't know) and get some stuff. Got some great bargains. I mainly was in need of clothes for my daughter and I and was thinking of getting a portable DVD player for only $50, but I racked up on clothes and didn't have enough moo-lah left over to get the DVD players. Clothes to wear are more important. Would rather be clothed and not watching a movie on the DVD player, than naked and watching a movie on the DVD player! That would be just too wierd! Lol.
So, anyways, yesterday I cleaned the house up and it's looking so good, now. When I'm in a funk, which isn't often, but it happens for a few days every once in a while, I don't want to clean and then it makes me feel worse, but I cleaned and I am feeling great now. I guess no matter how bad I feel, I should keep the house clean, so I don't stay in that funk, huh?
Tomorrow's another busy day. Gotta run back to the vet for follow up on Dudley's declawing and his U.R.T.I., and then it's school for my daughter and I have school of my own I have to do, too. Studying to be a vet assistant. I have a good chance of being hired at the vet clinic my animals go to. One of the receptionists told me she told the Dr. about me studying for vet assistant and that I will be looking for a job soon, and the Dr. had me do most of the handling of my cat the other day, I think he was testing me. Lol. It went well, so we'll see......
Anyways, I am gonna hope off and get that laundry put up! Fun!!! I am thinking of running to Kroger's tonight after church and grilling up a steak. Yes, I love steak and have one about once a week. Yum! I am very carnivorous.
To those of you who have been so kind and stopping by and posting, I apologize for not getting right back to you. As you know, I had a hard week and so I will be stopping by to say hi to all of you very soon. Tonight or tomorrow. Love you guys and God bless to everyone! Hugs,
