Sometimes it is very weird to parent and talk with my child with autism.   She plays too many word association games when she tries to talk.

For a long time, everything had an opposite.  Good night my sweet girl. Was replied with "boy"

now, it is just random word associations.
if she hears us say Table, she says dog.
if she hears us say shirt, she says roses

I think it is because Dorothy the Dinosaur doesn't wear a shirt and DTD likes roses????? I don't know.

So, this morning, when she was at the table and I told her to put on her shirt I said it like this:

You are at the dog, so put on your roses!

and guess what?  She sat down and got dressed.

huh???

Crystal! I wanted to thank-you for sewing your seed into my daughter Heaven's missions trip to South Africa. Over 3000 souls were led to Christ and a ministry called Impact Africa are permanently stationed there to continue to help those new to the faith. There were many healings and miracles from our Lord. Thank-you, for helping to send Heaven. Thank-you.
