The Advent Book
Every December, we pull out our copy of the beautifully illustrated Advent Book by Jack and Kathy Stockman. I just received an email from them today because they are releasing an Heirloom Edition of it. So I wanted to share it with you all. It's a wonderful book. My son was 2 when we started reading it together and he was memorizing it-- and it's pretty much straight from the book of Luke. The kids enjoy taking turns opening the doors. We open the first door on the first day, then the first and second on the next, etc, so by the end we have repeated the story and they know it well. Here is their tour schedule. They are coming to a lot of churches in my area (and MOPS groups)! I saw them years ago at my old church. |
