hot weather

Seven weeks into the road trip and we are still alive; actually, we are enjoying it still...except for fall weather. In Chicago we heard on the radio that summer was gone and fall was here and now we are in Ohio where October always means fall weather. But where is it????? Today the high for the day is 88 degrees! Maybe the people here are relieved for the added warm days but I for one am voting for relief for the poor Alaskans among them! I know, we don't get to vote on the weather; what does the hymn say? "clouds arise and tempests blow by order from Your throne" ok, ok, I quit complaining...

I live not so far from Ohio and yes, Autumn has taken it's time this year in this part of the country. However, today that's all suppose to change. This week we'll actually have highs only in the 50s! Welcome Autumn!
