The History of Weight, the Passage of Time and another sleepless night due to autism
If you will think about weight and measurement and also about time, these are fascinating areas of learning, but think about them in terms of the Word of the Lord (his just measure and how His timing is not our timing, etc)

Louis Essen - English physicist who invented the quartz crystal ring clock and the first practical atomic clock. These devices were capable of measuring time more accurately than any previous clocks. He built a cesium-beam atomic clock, a device that ultimately changed the way time is measured. Each chemical element and compound absorbs and emits electromagnetic radiation at its own characteristic frequencies. These resonances are inherently stable over time and space. The cesium atom's natural frequency was formally recognized as the new international unit of time in 1967: the second was defined as exactly 9,192,631,770 oscillations or cycles of the cesium atom's resonant frequency, replacing the old second defined in terms of the Earth's motion. BTW, why am I up? At 2 a.m.? Because my 8yo T woke up, giggling hysterically and yelling. Now he is taking a bath and I need to stay awake as he will likely do something unacceptable. No he is not tired. No he will not go back to sleep. Yes, he had his melatonin. Perhaps he had a dream. He can't tell me. At least it wasn't scarey or sad Those are awful. The time will pass - and it will soon be time to get up. Is my time my own?
Reconsider your selfish ways, your supposed "needs"; submit all to Him. We are here to serve. He knows we need sleep. Why do we think that if it isn't our way, it is wrong? How do we think our ways are higher than His?
