Well, I've finally got around to adding a new entry. Everything is going well. My husband lost his new job at Thanksgiving this past year! I'm starting to get a little paranoid about that holiday! But it opened up the oportunity for my husband to start his own business which is starting out slow but growing steadily.
My mom is still alive and doing wonderful. She decided to see a holistic doctor and is more active now than she was before she got cancer. Her cancer count has been dropping steadily and the regular Dr. just doesn't seem to know what to make of it. I'm so thankful that she is still here.
Our house was finished the weekend before Christmas so we spent the holiday moving in. I love my new house. Our Zoo has grown by 2 cats, 1 snake, 2 dogs and 6 ducks.
I've also joined up with a friend and have started a new homeschool group here in Georgia. We are looking to open a resource store and are looking for a building to buy so we will have room for all the activities we would love to offer. I'm so excited about it!

There are just so many things going on in my life right now. My husband lost his job just before Thanksgiving last year which was a wonderful thing! We had been praying about moving here to Georgia and were searching for a "are we sure this is the right thing" answer. Well, that was certainly a resounding yes! They gave him such a nice severance package we were able to make repairs needed to sell our house and have plenty of money to live on until we moved. We arrived and moved into a trailer (2 bedroom and there are 5 of us!) on some property my parents owned and started looking for a house. My husband and I couldn't agree on anything. My dad suggested we buy the propery we were staying on. I was worried my sisters wouldn't like that but they both had no problems with it. It is a beautiful place with a pond and 6 acres of land. We even have a swamp with the kids love. We have a paddle boat and chickens now. We started building a house which is comming along. We are painting the inside and have to get it done so the flooring people can come. We are hoping to be in by Thanksgiving.
On a sadder note I found out in June that my mother's breast cancer had come back and she was diagnosed as terminal. I am so greatful that God moved me here in time to spend time with her and enjoy her. She started chemo and was doing well but complications set in over the last 3 weeks. She developed blood clots in her good lung and had to stop treatment for a week and this week her life port became so infected they had to take it out. My mother has such bad veins, that without a port she won't be able to receive any more treatment. Her doctor doesn't want to try to put another one it. I have been so angry with the treatment that she has received. They wrote her off from day one and didn't understand why she even wants to bother trying chemo. What they don't seem to understand is that we serve and awesome God and He decides when it's time for my mother to die not them. We are praying for a miracle while preparing for the end. The hardest thing is going over and having to help my mother go through her stuff. She is determined to have everything divided up to who gets what and getting rid of all the stuff she was eventually going to get around to using. She doesn't want the house cluttered for Dad when she is gone. She is ready for when the Lord calls her. The doctors had given her 4 to 6 months and we are in the fourth so everyday with her is a miracle for us. I love you Mom.
Ronda is such a great friend and is teaching me how to use my blog because I'm so computer challenged! She has been such a great friend to me. I recomend her to everyone who want's their blog designed!
We just found a motherless animal in our yard. We are going to nurse the little fellow back to health and then release him into his natural environment. He is so little. His brother, BraveHeart, is doing fine outside still. We think that they were not litter mates because the wild one is so much bigger. Please pray that he thrives.
They are putting the dry wall up on our new home. Hopefully it will only be 1 or 2 months left before it is done. Maybe we will be able to have Christmas dinner in a real home.
My wonderful friend convinced me to start blogging my life because we have so much fun. I hope to learn the basics soon with her help.
