We are re-posting Micah's last post so that it has the correct date on it for a poetry contest :) from Joy in the Morning. For more information on the contest, click here.

(I (Micah's mom) was working on this writing activity when the kiddos asked what I was doing -- and wanted to write their own! We used this easy template, and the kids basically filled in the blanks with their own ideas. Such fun! You should try it!)
Where I'm From
I am from my family, Toyota, my swingset and slide.
I am from a soft and hard home, happy, from smells of flowers.
I am from red and white roses and venus fly-traps.
I am from celebrating birthdays, from playing around, from missing dad while he is at work.
I am from grumpiness and happiness.
From "Please obey me" and "Love your mom and dad."
From a good God, from working to obey God by listening to mom and dad's words. From singing about God on the swings, with a funny feeling in my belly.
I'm from Sacramento and Europe, from sweet oranges and sour gum.
From the mommy who had a baby, the brother who loves football, and the dad who makes money for us.
