Odds and Ends
I haven't been keeping up with blogging very well! The kids have taken over my job! They each now have their own blogs, so I figure they can keep our families updated on what we are up to (and it's a sneaky, fun way to practice spelling and writing! )
This was taken on "Calvin's" birthday. He is now 7 years old!
Apparently, he has grown in spite of being starved his whole life:
The sign says "Please Give Me Food or Money. I AM Starving"
The kids finished up their achievement tests (Thanks A!) and they seemed to do very well.
The garden is growing... the kids are growing.... the chickens are growing....
Everything is going well. No real news, just a real boring post!

That kid is always starving .. hmmm .. who does that sound like ....

| It's great that the kids can do their own blogs. I often wonder what life is like when the kids get older and more independant, able to read and write, etc. I'm still in the very young stage. I like to hear about the lives of mom's who have survived the very young stage and moved on...it gives me hope ;o) |

The kids make me think a little of mine - my daughter is about 3 years older than her brother. I'll have to show her their blogs. She wants to start one too. :)

Hi There!
We have tried the last 2 years to finish up school so it coincides w/ the end of our co-op year. It just seemed that after ending co-op no one wanted to work anymore.
I like your idea of blogging for spelling....very nice, sneaky but nice!

Hey thanks for stoppin' by. I went and checked out Calvin's blog, love the Calvin and Hobes comics. Tell to keep it up, we will be checking in to see if he has new ones. And dont worry, I will not mention the roof jumping.

fun @ your house!
your house looks like so much fun to live in! I can't believe Calvin is 7! he's getting way old and he's probably as tall as me now. i'm pretty short. That sign is pretty funny! When you can't have Gluten you are pretty much starving but with Earth Munchies you are good to go!
