Update

I posted a message a few weeks ago about a friend's friend who had brought home her newborn son with lukemia and was told he wouldn't live more than a couple of days or a week at best...well, at the astonishment of the doctors it has been about five weeks and he is still alive.  The doctors have decided to start treatment and so far he is responding.  No one knows what the outcome will be, but in the end we know that God is in control of it all..."Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."  Please keep them in prayer.

Wow, what a miracle already! I will add your friends to my prayer list on my blog if that's OK. Does the little baby have a name? How sad for the parents though to see their precious little one go through all of this. Like you said though, God is in control, nothing happens that He doesn't allow! There's always a reason for why things happen.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I too think Dr. Phil should have an additional show to let people see the 'real' side of homeschooling. Folks who don't think homeschooling is good are those who are totally ignorant to it all. I can't tell you how many new homeschooling Moms join our homeschool group thinking "I can't really do this can I?" and then a year later they're pros! It's all ignorance at first.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy your new blog...it's fun isn't it?!?

Thanks for keeping them in prayer. I actually don't know the name of the baby boy...the couple are friends with a good friend of mine. I pray God will give them a miracle. I will blog any updates I get on his condition.

I am new to this blogging thing, but am really enjoying it. Now, I just need to find a better time to do it than when I should be sleeping!
