� Aug. 21, 2007 - New School Week

So far our new school plan is going well. (See previous post.) The last two days we did Bible, Konos, and reading. For Bible we are starting to read through Proverbs. E is reading at least a chapter a day from whatever book that he is currently working on. K is starting What Your 4th Grader Needs to Know by E.D. Hirsch. I like this series. It was recently featured on the Regis show. The boys are liking the Konos. We have had fun with it. Our candle didn't come out very well. I didn't have everything I needed for that, so it ended up more like a huge, purple crayon. The rest of the stuff that I mentioned will mostly be done on the days that the babysitter is here. I do think next week they will have to do math every day as well.

Very cool pics. I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I have been away from my computer for a while. Are you all flooting away yet. I wish we could take some of the rain yall been getting lately. I started up school sorta this week. School starts and then we go on vacation. DH is taking two weeks off yaaa
