| Wowie, this committee chairman is pooped. Tonight was our annual roundup. We had a great turn out. Someone goofed though. Our flyers said 7pm as when we were starting, but someone told the kids 6:30. 6:30 was when the leaders were planning to show up, so that we could set up before hand. I got there a couple minutes early to unlock and the parking lot was already full. We signed up at least 27 kids tonight. We needed Tiger and Wolf leaders and had at least 2 parents sign up to help with that. Yeah! If we didn't get leaders, I was going to have to take a den this year. I don't mind doing it, but it wouldn't have been for any of my kids. We also have at least 10 more applications out for people to return with money on another day. It looks like it is going to be a good year. |
