Yesterday was K's first football game. I didn't get any pictures, because they said that they might not have jersey's in time for the game. They did though. He is on the Dolphins team, so his jersey is orange with teal writing. He is number 16. Our team played really well. We did lose 22-12 though. However most of our team has never played tackle football. K hadn't played since flag three years ago. Well except for with the neighbor kids.
We only had 11 guys on the field. They had more than that plus a couple guys on the sideline. None of our kids got hurt, but several of theirs did. I don't think they really got as hurt as they made it out to be. The kids seemed a little wimpy. Oh, and our guys kept getting penalized, because they kept forgetting to put their mouth pieces back in.
At least they know what they need to work on now. |
