WOW!!! 13 years has gone by fast. This is making me feel old. In some ways I don't know if I am ready to be the mom of a teenager. Especially since I am getting ready to start all over again. We had a lot of fun for his birthday. Friday, I took him to spend his gift cards and birthday money. First we got him a haircut. This was the unfun part. He wants to keep it long and shaggy looking. I want short and neat. We were able to compromise. It was short on the sides and back and longer on top. Using his Wal-Mart gift card, he got parts of his Halloween costume, a black T-shirt, a pair of shoes, etc. We then went to Sonic for lunch and used his last birthday coupon there.
Kodi went to a friend's house after that. Then Eman and I drove to Corpus to do the rest of his shopping. We went to Party City to get the rest of his costume. We got some clothes at Ross and Marshall's. Then we used his birthday coupon at Baskin Robbins. The bad thing is he got a lot of money and gift cards after his birthday, so we are going to have to do this again.
Saturday night, he had a few friends over for pizza and cake.
The boys had sword and silly string fights.
