Well, we are still computerless in our houseshold but I really haven't had much time anyway so while I'm at the library waiting for ballet lessons to finish, I thought I'd write a little. School has been busy this year. I'm now teaching two children and Kindergarten definitely doesn't take much time but second grade sure does! We're basically covering all subjects now and I've yet to plan the Kings and Queen's feast for our Konos study. I'm also thinking of doing a Little House on the Prairie Christmas party this year. Some other homeschool moms in our county have formed a co-op and last week was our first day. It was a lot of fun and the girls really enjoyed it! They are taking drama, science, and p.e. for eight weeks and then the next six weeks, they'll be studying different cultures.
Aaron is in boot camp now and we don't expect to see him until Christmas. This morning was the first morning without him here and it was lonesome since he's usually just coming home from work when I'm waking up so I really missed that time with him. Otherwise, I've made a list of goals to accomplish while he's gone: * repair a hole in the "drum room" wall and paint the walls and have new carpet installed in that room and our bedroom. (We call the spare room the "drum room" since that's where Daddy plays his drums but it's now becoming Esther's room). *lay tile in the laundry room *may also paint the upstairs bathroom *start running again (I did go yesterday and may try to fit it in tonight while we have cool weather *set up A LOAD of doctor apts. since we have great coverage thru the military right now * do more research on adoptions (did I mention that we're considering adoption?)
So that's some of my list but I need to go so that my yung'un can play a game on the computer.
