I miss blogging but I also don't know how I'd have much time to be on a computer right now. We are so busy with life! The girls and I are in Michigan, visiting my husband's family and we're going to go see Melissa (thelordismyshepherd) tonight. We always try our best to spend time together when I'm up here, no matter how crazy our schedules are...between Melissa and my plans, we are squeezing it in today.
Well, yesterday as the girls and I were driving in the van, Quinn heard the radio announcer talking about "Jesus Freak". She says "what is 'freak'?" So, I turned the radio off, cleared my throat and by the end, I was quoting the verse about how we as Christians are not to fear what man can do to us, they can only destroy this earthly body, they will NEVER be able to destroy our soul...it is in the hand of our Almighty God. I also sang the Jesus Freak song to Quinn and asked her what she thought about what I said and she simply replies "Nice, now can you turn the radio back on?". Uhhhhh, who knows...maybe something will stick and I like to imagine if we do face persecution, Quinn will remember the "inspiring" words of her mother. I think I inspired myself more than I did my kids! ;)
