Jul. 23, 2009 - So far..
Well since starting our homeschool year on Monday things have been going well.
We are currently learning about cells and DNA in our Roots and Relations Unit Study. I am surprised at the amount that I am learning. It's always great when mama learns right along with the children!
Yesterday the children learned about the chemicals that combine to make a DNA strand..They then made their own DNA strands which turned out pretty good! :)
Some things I want to focus on this year:
My 10 year old dd Gabriellia needs to practice reading out loud along with her comprehension.
Get my 7 year old Micah reading..
Making sure each of my children is understanding their math so they don't fall behind.
Spending one on one time with my children so I know where they are in regards to their learning.
I am thankful HaShem for being able to homeschool my children!
I feel so blessed...
