It has been forever since I've blogged. I need to start giving myself one hour a day to do what I want. Here is what I'd do for that one hour a day:
- sleep for 20 minutes
- blog for 10 minutes
- read for enjoyment 30 minutes
That sounds like a good way for a mother of three to spend her one hour of free time. But knowing me I'd probably watch one hour of Days of our Lives. I've been addicted to that soap since I was a teenager. Even though I don't ever get a chance to watch it anymore my girlfriends keep me updated.

Mad!!!!
This is how I felt this morning.I woke up,walked into the restroom(this is the restroom we just put new carpet on) and saw four spots of cat pee!!!! That's it ,cats are outside. I am steaming mad! Why do cats think it's okay to pee on anything? I 'll never understand them. I sprayed the spots with some shout ( fabric spray to get stains off clothes). It seemed to work. I didn't notice a smell so I'm guessing it was our female cat that did it.We have three cats altogether, 2 male and 1 female. I'll post a picture of them later.

Socialization is a hot topic on the Calvert board right now. I was just there reading what some of the parents where blabbing (talking) about. This is what I think on the whole subject.
My children ,who are homeschooled ,are way too socialized. They have way to many friends to keep track of. They are always wanting to have someone come over or their wanting to go to someone's house.
It drives me bonkers. This was one of the reasons I took them out of public school.Everywhere we go they make more friends!!!! What is going on here? I thought when I took them out of public school they would become loners and social freaks. Boy was I wrong . They became the coolest kids on the block. Their mom don't make them go to school, their homeschooled, I wish I were homeschooled. This is exactly what we were hearing from the kids around town. This is exactly what I didn't want, more friends to have over. I'm exhausted from all this socialization. I might just have to put them back in ps so I can take a break. NOT!!

As I type I can hear in my backyard the laughing of a majority of our neighborhood children, including mine .For some reason my house is usually the one they all end up at. I believe they are playing kickball ( kickball is like baseball except you use a kickball and you kick it with your foot) tonight.I can here my energetic daughter screaming "YOUR OUT!"
I made them stop for a sec so I could take a pic.

Reasons why I love my husband today
- he didn't get mad that I didn't have supper made
- he saw how tired I was so he warmed up some leftovers in the fridge
- he let me take a nap after he got home from a 11 hour day at work
- during my nap he played monopoly with the kids
- everytime I called him at work (just to say hi and I love you) he made me feel like I'm #1 not his job
- he is still playing with the kids while I blog
- he loves me

Just got back from the kiddo's 4-H meeting. Judging for small animals is less then a week away.I think I'm more nervous then my son!
Gage is the only one of my kids who is old enough to take on a project. His project is guinea pigs.

This is the book I'm reading at the moment,Fozen Assets by Deborah Taylor-Hough.Since I'm a working, homeschooling mother it's hard to cook a delicious and nutritous dinner every night. I thought reading this book would help my dilemma.

We are having an excellent Monday! Does that ever happen? Everyone got their work(school and chores) done without complaining. The children are all out in the back yard playing with the neighbor children and nobody is fighting. I haven't had one child come in and tell on someone for cheating ,hitting, or calling names.Life is good.
Tip For the Day
- Punishment when siblings can not get along
Make them be best friends for one whole week. Don't allow them to play with anyone but each other. If one watches t.v the other has to watch t.v.If one wants to play dolls or cars the other has to play also. If they fight while they are to be best friends tell them the punishment will be extended.
I tried this on my oldest son (10) and my daughter (9), and it worked. They were bfs last week, and they are playing wonderful together now.

I've been hearing so much about lapbooking and notebooking. I'm very interested in going in this direction for some of our studies this year. I don't know to much about it all, so if anyone can hand over some advice I'd be very thankful.
Schooling today was suppose to be Hunter doing
Composition- Math
- Reading
- Phonics
As you can see all that was done was composition. School was interrupted with my mother-n-law stealing Hunter away for the night for a girl party.School can be done another time , girl parties only come around once or twice a year.
Today I had a Mary Kay party. My aunt just became a consultant and ask if I'd be a hostess. I invited about 5 relatives. We had a really good time. I think I spent a little to much money though, $70 on skin products is not in our budget. I just got caught up in the moment. We did a little demo of products on our faces and I loved the way my skin felt afterward. My face felt soft and smooth. Here is a picture of my new and improved face.
My daughter is gone, my husband and youngest son are fishing, my oldest son is playing at is uncle's house with cousins, and I'm home alone. What should I do? I know, BLOG! I am learning so many new things by doing this blogging thing. It's great. O.K. I wrote to soon, their back. Got to go . My husband does not like me on the computer when he's home.

Jul. 9, 2007 - Blinkie!!!
Yes, I did it again! I now have my very own blinkie. I guess sitting on the computer for hours on end does pays off. Okay ladies I now most go and clean house, do a little school with my middle child, and get lunch fixed and served all before I go back to work . I have to leave the house at 2:30, it is now 11:07. So I have a couple of hours to complete my tasks. I CAN DO IT! Maybe I should say a little prayer first, because without Jesus' help I knowI can't accomplish anything. I have to admit I really depend on my Lord for alot! See Ya -Bye
