Service Project
| Today was a service project day for AIM.
The first thing was to go to the recplex (a place kind of like YMCA) and eat breakfast which contained doughnuts, um doughnuts, and doughnuts (did I mention doughnuts?). \
Then we (AIM) went to Alexander Park, that is a park here in Branson, MO, and painted the restrooms and pavilion of that park. Mulching was done by Charleton and Amber.
James, and I helped pitch the mulch into a wheelbarrow where it could be dumped and spread. I accidentally stabbed James with the pitchfork... then I got accidentally stabbed by James with HIS pitchfork.
After we were done, we finished up the painting and then washed the brushes and pans. I was then dropped off at The Salvation Army Church, where I was picked up by my dad and now I am home. |
