ECMT part 1
I will put these next several entries of the mission trip in Journal form.
September 16th, 2009
Today we had a long drive starting in Branson, Missouri and ending in Vanleer, Tennessee at Camp Ridgedale. My Dad dropped my sister and I off at the Browns house and we prayed then drove to pick up Amber Redmond. Then we started our drive to Tennessee. After we crossed the MO/AR border it started to rain. It rained and rained and rained and rained (did I mention it rained?) almost all the way there. We arrived at the Camp at around 6 p.m. and found out the power was out so we had a candle light dinner. In the middle of some hang out time after dinner we got power again, so we played a game called Apples to Apples then went to our respective dorms (boys dorm, girls dorm). Lights were out in about 15 minutes. |
