PARK DAY!

We enjoy our park days (even if it's just us)! I love to see my kids running around having fun, but more importantly getting out all their extra energy! We did a little bit of schoolwork this morning, but  I wanted this to be considered a "field trip" day! I'm getting so encouraged by so many of you to steer away of just textbook work. I'll have to gather the information and get all the materials we need. I already know that my kids will love to be more "hands on." Well, here is a picture of today. The weather was chilly and windy!!

I had to laugh at your ' sooooooooo impressed!' comment! There are others doing greater things than this......but I aprpeciate the vote of confidence. I'm glad its encouraging other moms to step away from the norm of schooling and do something more hands on!
What have you and the kids been doing? Are you still using Abeka? Anything else?
